Job description:

Function:

  • Search for quotes from suppliers to get prices of input materials for the project, run estimates if required by the owner to apply prices according to state norms, apply material and labor prices to complete the quotation.

  • Assist CDD to manage and implement all procedures and policies as regulated by the Company.

  • Provide full QS services which include tender management services and cost management services throughout pre-development, design and construction stages from initial estimate to the final account, with the aim to seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

  • Prepare Tender Documents
  • Manage Tender Process
  • Tender Evaluation and Recommendation
  • Cost estimate and Value Engineering
  • Prepare the Cost plan and Cash flow analysis
  • Manage Material Procurement Plan
  • Progress claim administration
  • Contract Variations administration
  • Final accounts administration.

Education:

  • Minimum - Bachelor of Engineering Construction Management
  • Preferred - Major in Building Cost Estimate or Quantity Surveyor

Experience:

  • Have over 5 years of experience working as a QS at construction companies, proficient in project estimating skills. Able to manage accurate estimates in accordance with the budget of each proposed project. Able to communicate with domestic and foreign experts (English, Chinese) to create accurate estimates for each project and construction.

  • Preferred -   Worked for foreign companyyears experience.

  • Good communication and organizational ability, Creativity, Initiative and Assertiveness
  • Good computer skills
  • Internal training is important for this position

Language:

  • Minimum -  Advanced level of English
  • Preferred -  English proficient
