Job description:

Function:

    • AQS shall assist Quantity Surveyor (QS) to achieve all task in connection with cost and contract management.

Duties:

      • Together with all other AQS and estimators to measure quantity in tender period for all projects.
      • Support Quantity Surveyor (QS) for all duties related to quantity.
      • Measure quantity for nominated sub-contractor and suppliers.
      • Support QS for Selection of qualified contractors, to prepare Tender Documents, to manage Tender Process, for Tender Evaluation and Recommendation, for Cost estimate and Value Engineering, to prepare the Cost plan and Cash flow analysis, to manage Material  Procurement Plan, for Progress claim administration, for Contract Variations administration and for Final accounts administration.
      • Coordinate with Site supervisor to certify quantity for payment claim of contractors and subcontractors.
      • Coordinate with Site supervisor  to certify quantity for variation.
      • Report to Construction Manager/Quantity Surveyor on status of trade work of the related works.
      • Prepare schedule of submission of shop drawing, material samples, and specification checklist.
      • Prepare material schedule, procurement plan and coordinate with Construction Manager for check the material samples for Sub Contractor & Main Contractor.
      • Coordinate with Site Manager to ensure materials supplies meet the requirements in terms of specification and quality.
      • Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection.

Education:

      • Minimum  University Graduate of Civil Engineering and Construction.
        Preferred - Major in Building Cost Estimate or Quantity Surveyor.

 Experience:

      • Minimum 3 years experience aftergraduation.
        Preferred - 2 years site experience and worked for foreign company.

Skills:

      • Good communication and organizational ability, Creativity, Initiative and Assertiveness.
      • Good computer skills.
      • Internal training is important for this position.

Language:

    • Minimum  some levels of English.
    • Preferred English proficient.
